It's a Grating Experience

It's the weekend and I am back to blog land!

Sometimes the most interesting photos are those that you find in everyday places. I recently went to a little park called Gene Coulan Park which is at the south end of Lake Washington. There I noticed a grating in the ground and took a photo...the photos in this entry are the result...working backwards to the original shot!....Using photo bucket and the neon, border and glitter letter features one can produce some quite amazing results......to me they have a Celtic look and feel!

My signature icon is compliments of Chris at Cab's Creations: http://cabscreationschatter.blogspot.com/ She is featured the Pittsburgh Steelers lately.:)..well that's ok with me since I lived there for 10 years when I was younger...although my sister and brother live in Arizona...it is a dilemma...the Super Bowl..Pittsburgh or Arizona????? They also lived in Pittsburgh along with me and in fact were born there!...We lived on Sleepy Hollow Road...neat huh?

I think that's the nicest looking grate that I've ever seen...Good idea to capture them! Hey, Congrats on your new camera!

Wow, you did a super job of transforming the grate. Although the original is neat also. Thanks for mentioning me, Maria. LOL...I'm a total Steeler maniac. The whole city is and always has been crazy. I think it's amazing how many Jland/Bloggers I know that have roots in Pittsburgh. Have a great Sunday.

Thanks, spookydragonfly! I'm going to keep an eye out for more of these... Chris, The Pittsburgh STeelers pulled it off and won the Superbowl right before the end..wow, what a great game. Arizona really did a good job too. Thanks for getting me excited to watch them...it was good quality time with my husband too. :)
