I haven't posted in awhile so it might not surprise you (whoever is looking at this) to read that this photo was taken in November! The snow had arrived in Seattle on November 22. It snowed for quite awhile and stuck around for about three days. It was about 4-5 inches at our place and the wind blew it into drifts of more than that in places. The sun came out and the sky was blue! Hence the reason for the snow sticking around. The wind blew all the clouds away and it stayed cold but sunny. So unusual for Seattle...usually the clouds stick around, it warms up and the snow melts right away. We had icy roads for three days...luckily it cleared up by Thanksgiving so we had clear driving where we needed to go. It is beautiful, dangerous and cold. Snow, Snow, Snow....let it Snow? ok..when I'm not driving then it can snow.

Beautiful shot Marie!

What a beautifully composed photo. I love it! We are being told to expect a substantial snow fall on Christmas Day, so it looks like we may have a White Christmas. Thanks for stopping by my blog. How lovely that you play the handbells. I went to my friend’s church to see her play, along with several others. It was so melodic and I loved them, along with the choir. As soon as they finished my friend walked over to the choir and we heard many beautiful Christmas Carols. Wonderful that you have a boat too. I love the idea of living on a boat also but maybe 30 years ago. I would also enjoy a week or two sailing around:). I miss being near the water however. Nothing like looking out at sea.
Thank-you, Helen and Denise! I am so glad you stopped by. It's good to hear from you!
